System Requirements

What you'll need to run Sudoku University at launch.

Platform

Sudoku University is launching on Windows 10/11 (64-bit) via Steam. macOS and Linux builds are being evaluated for a possible release after launch, once the Windows version has shipped and been through a full round of player feedback.

Minimum specification

OS	Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit)
Runtime	Microsoft Edge WebView2, included with modern Windows; the installer fetches it automatically if it's missing
Processor / graphics	No dedicated GPU required. Sudoku University runs comfortably on modest laptops and integrated graphics
Storage	A few hundred MB. The installer itself is only a few megabytes thanks to the lightweight Rust/Tauri architecture, which has no bundled browser engine to ship

Exact benchmarked minimum and recommended specifications will be published here once finalized.

Accessibility

Accessibility is an active area of development. Planned features include full keyboard navigation, a colour-blind-friendly indicator alongside the given/solved/hint/error colour language, an adjustable UI scale, and audio cues. Details will be finalized and confirmed before release.
