Learn the logic behind every Sudoku University hint

This is the companion site for Sudoku University, a from-scratch Sudoku solver, trainer and generator, currently in development for Steam. Everything here explains how the game teaches you to solve, not just where to click.

Built Differently

A trainer first, a solver second

Sudoku University is built around a full ladder of human solving techniques rather than a brute-force solver, so every hint teaches you a technique you can reuse on the next puzzle, not just an answer.

Staged, step-by-step hints

Every hint unfolds in four steps: technique, region, targets, then the full solution, so you can stop as soon as you see it, or read all the way through.

An honest difficulty scale

Puzzles are rated on an original, from-scratch engine calibrated against the community-standard Sudoku Explainer scale, described as SE-compatible, never as the official rating.

A generator you can trust

Every generated puzzle is checked for a single unique solution and re-verified as solvable within its target tier before it's ever served to you.
